There are 2 airports which serve the Greater Houston Area: Bush Intercontinental Airport and William P. Hobby Airport.
Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) - With more than 700 daily departures and 43 million domestic passengers passing through its gates in 2015, Bush Intercontinental is the largest airport in Houston, and one of the top 10 largest airports in the U.S. It is 20 miles from downtown Houston.
William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) - Hobby Airport serves domestic destinations and has seen significant increases in passenger numbers in recent years, hitting 12 million travelers in 2015. Hobby is about 11 miles south of the heart of Downtown.
Both of these airports are served by a variety of public transportation options, which will help you get to the Summit easily and safely.

| TAXIS Houston has more than 2,200 taxis in its fleet. The City of Houston has authorized a flat taxi fare of $6 for all trips in the downtown area. This $6 fare will apply anywhere within the Central Business District. No surcharges will apply to the fare, which can accommodate multiple riders under the $6 total rate.

| GREENLINK BUSES Greenlink is a free transportation service in Downtown Houston. The buses run on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), making them a cleaner transportation alternative. Multiple buses operate in Downtown Houston Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., about 7-10 minutes apart, and stop at popular downtown destinations including GreenStreet, George R. Brown Convention Center, Discovery Green, Main Street Square, City Hall and the Central Library.
