Catholic Social Ministry Gathering 2018

Why Attend?

UNDERSTAND OUR MISSION TODAY

Every year, CSMG participants share our Catholic priorities through visits to Representatives and Senators on Capitol Hill.

For more than 25 years, the Catholic Social Ministry Gathering (CSMG) has served as the central gathering for professional development of Catholic social ministry leaders in the United States. At CSMG, participants reflect together on the call to mission and on domestic and international affairs in the light of Catholic social teaching. In 2015, CSMG participants shared our Catholic priorities through 200+ visits to Representatives and Senators. Don’t miss this opportunity to join others to grow in faith and develop new skills to promote justice!

LEARN FROM NOTABLE EXPERTS AND LEADERS

Gain inspiration, fresh perspective and best practices from leaders in social ministry, experts in social policy, and our most experienced colleagues. With the voices of our bishops and the wisdom of experts, you’ll gain greater understanding of the relevance of Catholic social teaching in the public square and the importance of integrating social mission and advocacy within and among our efforts.

NETWORK WITH A VIBRANT MIX OF SOCIAL MINISTRY PROFESSIONALS

Connect with a dynamic and diverse mix of current and emerging social ministry and advocacy leaders from around the country at various networking events. With more than 500 participating representatives of dioceses, campuses, religious orders and congregations, ecclesial movements, and volunteer networks, CSMG is a prime opportunity for putting a face to a name, catching up with colleagues, and meeting and mobilizing new team members for mission. Your ministry’s work around Catholic mission for the common good will be stronger due to connections and professional development possible at CSMG.
