Here Junior Fellows and medical students speak one-on-one with renowned Fellow generalists and sub-specialists on applying to residency; sub-specialties such as maternal-fetal medicine, gynecological oncology, family planning; and varied generalist practice models such as solo, group, and multispecialty. Do you have questions about residency applications, the rules for applying to a subspecialty-training program, or the interview process? Be sure to bring these and all your questions to this session and get answers from the experts!

Authors of the top scoring research abstracts for both the Iffath Abbasi Hoskins, MD Junior Fellow Research Day Contest and the Donald F. Richardson Memorial Prize Paper Award will be presenting their research to all Annual Meeting attendees. Come and join us as the Research Day Contest Oral Presentation winner is judged by the Junior Fellow Task Force on Awards.

1:30 pm – 3:30 pm Immediate Postpartum Long-acting Reversible Contraceptive Simulations

Taught by an IPP LARC clinical expert, this interactive training session is designed for the Junior Fellow and medical student and includes a didactic lecture and hands-on simulation training. During the simulation, attendees will be divided into small groups with Fellow faculty members demonstrating IPP IUD insertion using MamaU uterus models that simulate an IPP uterus.
