Registration Submissions

All pre-billed registrants and additional registrants must register through the online system. Only fully registered attendees will be permitted at Convention activities and in the Trade Show.


Annual Convention Assessment and Property Billing Policy

Your Convention assessment of €475 allows for payment for one registrant per property to the franchise-billing invoice. Each property open and operating through 31 May 2017 is automatically billed €475 for their Convention assessment (one full registration) on their June 2017 franchise invoice. You will still need to register through the online registration process by selecting the "Pre-Billed Franchisee" registration type and putting in both your property code and the Convention password given to you.

Additional persons attending the Convention from your hotel should complete the online registration process by selecting the "Additional Franchisees" registration type and paying the assessment via the online system.


Early Registration Deadline

To be included as a pre-registered attendee, you must register through the online system by Friday, 8 September 2017. An additional €50 late fee will be charged for all full and pre-billed registrations received after 8 September 2017. Registrations processed onsite will be €550.


Spouse/Guest Registration

The registration fee for a Spouse or Guest is €300 for gala awards dinner and closing party attendance or €150 per each evening event.


Registration Substitutions

Substitutions can be processed after the 8 September 2017 early registration deadline with the return of the registration confirmation page in its entirety to: international_fax@choicehotels.com or fax 704-927-1439.


Mandatory Attendance

Attendance is mandatory for each property open and operating through 31 May 2017. A franchisee with more than one hotel may represent multiple properties at registration. However, the Convention assessment is a per-property fee, and will not be refunded. Hotels not open and operating through 31 May 2017 are encouraged, but not required to attend the 2017 Convention.


Cancellation/Refund Policy

Refunds will not be given for no-shows after the Convention. Special circumstance refund requests must be received in writing in your local management offices mailbox by 30 September 2017. Full refunds will be granted on a case by case review. Pre-billed payments are not refundable.


Recommended Attire

General Sessions, Education Sessions and the Welcome Reception are business casual. The Gala Awards Dinner Event is black tie or cocktail attire. The Closing Party will have a theme determined at a later date.
