Raffaele Di Cuia holds a first class degree
in Earth Sciences from the University of Ferrara, Italy and an MSc in Basin
Analysis and Evolution from Royal Holloway College, London. He is presently
Partner and Technical Director of G.E.Plan
Consulting, which specializes in the characterization of complex reservoirs.
He previously held technical positions with TOTAL, FINA E&P and ARCO. He has
18 years experience in E&P industry and he has mainly worked on projects
about the characterization of carbonate and fractured reservoirs. He has worked
extensively in the Middle East, Europe and Africa and since 2009 has been
involved in projects focusing on the Zagros Thrust belt in Northern Iraq.
