This 2017 ONPHA Conference and Trade Show took place November 3-5, with Education Day on November 2, at the Scotiabank Convention Centre in Niagara Falls. It focused on thinking strategically and creatively as we plan for the road ahead. Drawing from the experience of sector experts and peers, attendees had the opportunity to attend educational sessions covering hot topics such as End of Operating Agreements, governance, innovations in housing operations, supportive housing, aging in place and more.

Opening the conference was David Orr, chief executive of the National Housing Federation – the voice of housing associations in England. To close the conference, we welcomed business innovator and creativity expert Ron Tite.

ONPHA Gala

Almost 600 people joined us in celebrating the 2017 ONPHA Conference and Trade Show at the must-attend event of the weekend. The ONPHA Gala took place on the evening of Saturday, November 4. Our night of celebration featured a delicious three-course meal as well as lively entertainment, and showcased our 2017 ONPHA award winners who made an outstanding contribution to the non-profit housing sector.
