Agenda |
This seminar will look at the principal outcomes and experiences four years after the enforcement of the Federal Economic Competition Law, from both the private practice and public sector perspective.
It will evaluate the impact of the new legislation on the market, the main economic sectors that have been investigated, and what actions can be expected from the competition authorities in the future.
Key Discussion Points:
- The most relevant case law, including precedents issued by judges specialising in this area
- The new prosecutorial powers of the Investigative Authority to fight sanction reduction benefits, criminal actions, and cartels (including authorising and performing on-site inspections)
- The new tools provided to define and regulate essential facilities, as well as dismantle barriers to competition, in markets that do not necessarily have monopolistic practices.
