Conveniently located in the heart of Broadbeach, just 500 metres from pristine white sand beaches, the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre is perfectly situated to bring you Ideaction.2017 National Facilities Management Conference & Exhibition.

PARKING

Primely positioned on the corner of the Gold Coast Highway and T E Peters Drive, the Centre’s car park entrance at the northern end of the building is easily accessible from traffic lights and the main driveway. The main entrance is accessible from the roundabout off T E Peters Drive.

The Gold Cost Convention and Exhibition Centre operates an automated car parking system. The cost is $10.00 per vehicle per entry payable upon exiting the centre. There are four pay stations positioned throughout various locations in the centre. These machines accept both cash and credit cards.

A 30-minute grace period applies to all vehicles, whereby payment is not required. Should this period be exceeded, a $10.00 fee will apply. Please note the parking rates are subject to change.


TRAVELLING BY AIR

The Gold Coast Airport is just 20 minutes south of the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre with regular flights from all capital cities and some Queensland regional centres.

Services are provided domestically by Virgin Australia, Qantas, Jetstar, Tigerair and Airnorth, and internationally through multiple airlines including AirAsia X, Scoot, Jetstar, Virgin Australia and Air New Zealand.

Regular bus and shuttle services are available from Gold Coast Airport to Broadbeach.

TRAVELLING BY ROAD

When travelling southbound from Brisbane (78km) take the Broadbeach Motorway Exit and follow the directions to Broadbeach. Just after the Pacific Fair Shopping Centre turn left at the next set of lights. This will bring you out onto the Gold Coast Highway. The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre is situated on the corner of the next street, just after Jupiters Casino.

The Gold Coast is 900km north of Sydney and is accessible by either the Pacific Highway or the inland New England Highway. There are a wide range of coach / bus transfers, taxi and hire car services available from the airports. Stretch and sedan limosines are also an affordable option.

The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre's car park entrance is at the northern end of the building, accessible from traffic lights off the Gold Coast Highway and the main driveway off TE Peters Drive.

Undercover car spaces are available for short-term parking.

A $10 inclusive of GST flat rate is charged for car parking at the centre.


TRAVELLING BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Local bus, coach, taxi and limousine companies operate regular services to all major attractions, hotel and shopping centres.

To get to and from the Brisbane Airport, the closest train station is called Nerang. It is about 15 minutes by taxi or you can also catch a Surfside bus.

There is a bus stop directly in front of the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre on the Gold Coast Highway. There are also taxi and limousine ranks at the main entrance.

You can also access the rail line to Brisbane via a bus from Jupiters Hotel and Casino.

TRAVELLING BY G:LINK LIGHT RAIL

The Gold Coast's G:link light rail system is a 13-kilometre corridor connecting Griffith University to Broadbeach, passing through the key activity centres of Surfers Paradise and Southport.

The service provides an easily-accessible and affordable transport option for patrons and guests, with the Broadbeach North Station conveniently located just metres from the Centre's main entrance.

Services run 7-days a week, approximately every 10 to 15 minutes. The network connects the Broadbeach and Surfers Paradise entertainment and dining precincts to a great diversity of accommodation – every style and budget, from resort accommodation to five-star hotels with a travel time of 10 minutes.
