2017 PLA VIC/TAS Region Conference

Creswick - what a great place to get the sport, parks and leisure industry together.  An historic Victorian gold mining town just 16km north of Ballarat, it is the Australian birthplace of reforestation after John La Gerche began re-planting forest areas ravaged by mining activity in 1882.  It is also the birthplace of our 14th Prime Minister, John Curtin, and the multi talented artistic Lindsay family.

The 2017 State Conference will be the 4th annual Vic/Tas Region State Conference, following the very successful conferences held in Geelong (2014), Ballarat (2015) and Torquay (2016).  The venue in 2017 is the RACV Goldfields Resort.

The Conference will be a great opportunity to increase your industry knowledge and local networks, and learn from colleagues in the sector.  At the same time and venue, the Awards of Excellence Dinner will be held.  We look forward to seeing you in Creswick in May 2017.
