Learning Objectives

At the end of this activity, participants should be able to:



  1. Cancer: Improve risk assessment, early recognition, initial workup, coordination of care, and patient education/guidance through continuum of care for common adult and pediatric cancers. 
  2. Urgent Care: Incorporate efficient new approaches to prevention, diagnosis, management and/or referral for patients with chest pain/EKG findings, acute eye conditions, wounds, fractures, common acute pediatric conditions, and/or common conditions requiring minor surgical procedures or point of care ultrasound.
  3. General Family Medicine: Incorporate efficient new approaches to prevention, diagnosis, management and/or referral for patients with acute intoxication, acute kidney injury, and benign vs malignant dermatologic conditions.
  4. Hot Topics: Apply at least one learning from sessions on QI missed Cases, Hot Topics, and Vision for Family Medicine.
  5. Culturally Effective Care: Mitigate implicit bias and apply learnings regarding patient age, gender, age, ethnicity, gender, physical attributes, lifestyle, and geography -- to improve diagnosis and management.
