2017 National Keystone Club Awards
Each year, the outstanding efforts of Keystone Club members are recognized at the National Keystone Conference Awards Ceremony. These prestigious awards are presented to chartered Keystone Clubs that submit nomination entries to Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
Awards are presented for projects representing each of the four arms of Keystone, including:
Academic Success
Career Preparation
Community Service
Teen Outreach
Additionally, awards are given for the following categories:
National Project
Keystone Club of the Year
Keystone Advisor of the Year
Debra W. Clark Spirit of Keystone Award
A distinguished panel of judges will screen the top three nomination forms for each award. The following criteria are assessed when identifying the winning Keystone Club for each category:
Creative and imaginative thought and planning
Relevance to the needs of the Club and community, with special consideration of the Club’s communal context (e.g. size, location, demographics)
Member involvement in planning and implementation
Efforts toward long-term impact and sustainability
Cooperative / collaborative efforts with other organizations or agencies; the use of partnerships for project planning and execution
