What if I need to change/edit my registration?

- No, when you register you will have the opportunity to
indicate your arrival and departure dates, and if you need a roommate. This will hold your rooms in the
Cities United room block. You will pay for your room nights upon arrival.

- There is no registration fee. Participants are expected to
cover their travel and lodging accommodations as well as some meals.

- When you register, you will be asked to indicate any food restrictions or allergies.

events. The average temperature for August in Minneapolis is 81 degrees.
- There is a separate track for our young leaders. You will
not be expected to chaperone the entire event. Our young leader planning team
will have all information for young leaders and chaperones in case of emergency.
- There is a track for young leaders with programming and
events aimed at participants ages 14 to 24.

- We strongly encourage mayors to assemble teams that include a local
Cities United representative, a youth delegate, a community or faith leader, a
public safety representative and a representative from a local foundation or
philanthropic organization. Please see the Financial Support tab for more details.
- Cities United is a mayor-led initiative. Mayors are highly
encouraged to attend to participate in programming geared especially for them.
Mayors will have the opportunity to spend time with other mayors, hearing from
national experts and learning more about effective violence prevention efforts
around the country, while focusing on the unique concerns of mayors involved in
this work.
Mayors are not required to attend in order for
their city teams to participate.
