Audi Academy Training Conduct

The scale and intensity of Audi Academy Training events represents a very substantial financial commitment by Audi of America to assist and enable dealership employees in reaching their highest potential as Audi Advocates.

Because of the high visibility of Audi Academy Training events, the conduct of Audi Advocates is “center stage” and is monitored very closely by staff and reported back to the AoA Management Team. As a result of conduct at previous events, AoA has established the policies below in order to maintain a training environment that encourages mutual respect and accountability, promotes positive training relationships among participants and AoA employees, and is absolutely professional in all aspects

1. Participant Conduct

As Audi Advocates, all participants (AoA employees and Dealership personnel) are expected to conduct themselves in a professional, respectful and ethical manner regardless of their location or situation. As such, certain conduct or behavior is considered unacceptable and may result in corrective or disciplinary action including immediate removal from the program, and possibly further action once the participant has returned home. These behaviors include, but are not limited to the following:

· Missing or being late to training events;

· Violations of training safety rules and procedures;

· Posing an imminent danger to himself/herself or fellow employees;

· Threatening, harassing or intimidating others;

· Physically or verbally abusing others;

· Inappropriate or unwanted sexual conduct or harassment;

· Deliberate damage, theft or unauthorized removal or use of Company property or the property of a fellow employee;

· Use, possession, sale, purchase, or transfer of illegal drugs at any time;

· Engaging in illegal activities, including gambling,

· Possession of dangerous or unauthorized materials, such as explosives or firearms;

· Insubordination or refusal to take direction from a program director, supervisor, security or safety personnel

· Being under the influence of alcohol, or behaving in an inappropriate manner.

2. Corrective Action

Participants who do not comport their behavior accordingly will be removed from the program and immediately sent home. No certification credit will be issued, and the Dealership will be charged for all costs attendant with the Participant’s involvement in the program. The Participant will also be barred from any further Academy training opportunities. Similarly, AoA employees will be addressed by the Company’s personnel policies and may be subject to discipline up to and including termination of employment.
