Our Honoree: Melinda Goldrich
Melinda is a mountain woman at heart who has lived in Aspen, CO for the past 23 years. She is strongly influenced by her father, Jona Goldrich, a holocaust survivor from Poland, who came to the United States in 1952. He gave her both a strong work ethic and a commitment to community and Jewish philanthropy. Her strongest childhood connection to Judaism comes from Jewish summer camp, and in the past few years she has pioneered and supported various scholarship programs for the Jewish camping experience. Melinda has been vital to the ongoing improvements at Ranch Camp, including the renovation and replacement of camper cabins, and the addition of staff and visitor housing.
