Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre

The Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre is located on the Darling Harbour waterfront.

A thriving precinct on the edge of Sydney’s CBD. Darling Harbour is home to some of Australia’s most tourist attractions as well as a variety of restaurants and shops. All to the interest and needs of the conference delegates and visitors.

Many of the city’s vibrant public festivals and events are held in Darling Harbour, which features beautiful parks and a series of major sculptures.

Darling Harbour is also incorporated into some of the centre’s major events, most notably the Sydney international boat show which extends into the Cockle Bay Marina.  

 
The Centre allows for all access requirements including wheelchair and assistance. See below for more information.
 
The Sydney Convention Centre is conveniently located in the heart of Sydney, just a ten-minute walk from the CBD, and is serviced by most modes of transport. 



Special features and services available:
The Centre features lifts and escalators throughout. 
All areas within the Centre can be accessed via wheelchair. 
The centre provides two wheelchairs for public use. 
Wheelchairs can be borrowed from the Services Desk at the entrance of Hall 5. 
7 wheelchair access toilets are located throughout the centre and signposted. 
Hearing induction loops are fitted in the Bayside Auditorium and Parkside Auditorium. 
Delegates with hearing aids should use their “T” switch in these rooms.
