Ann Hinkins, CPA | EKS&H LLLP
 
Ann is a partner with EKS&H, the largest Colorado-based CPA and advisory services firm.  She leads the firm's nonprofit group and has been involved in public accounting since 1982.  She provides audit and business advisory services to organizations including health and welfare, foundations, religious, education, cultural, healthcare, fundraising, and trade associations.
 
 
Ryan Sells, CPA | EKS&H LLLP
 
Ryan is a partner with EKS&H.  He leads the firm's healthcare group and has been involved in public accounting since 1994.  Ryan works with several types of nonprofit organizations, including healthcare providers, professional associations, foundations, and charitable organizations.  Ryan also advises clients on a wide variety of issues, including financial performance, board governance, and organizational best practices.

 
Gordon Tewell, CFA, CPC | Innovest Portfolio Solutions, LLC
 
Gordon is a principal, Consultant and member of Innovest's Investment Committee, which makes decisions on investment related research and due diligence.  He is also a member of the Capital Markets Research Group, responsible for asset allocation studies and portfolio construction.  Gordon has more than 19 years of retirement plan industry experience.  Gordon's consulting relationships are focused on retirement plans, due mainly to Gordon's experience with providing services to and directly managing a variety of retirement plans and in-depth understanding of IRS and DOL rules and regulations concerning retirement plans.

 
Bruce DeBoskey | The DeBoskey Group
 
Bruce DeBoskey, J.D., is the founder of The DeBoskey Group: Colorado-based Philanthropic Advisors helping individuals and families, businesses and foundations organize, strategize and maximize the impact of their philanthropic initiatives.  He is a highly regarded public speaker and writes a regular column "On Philanthropy" which appears in the Sunday Denver Post.

 
Lisa Meacham, CPAEKS&H LLLP
 
Lisa is a partner with EKS&H.  She has been involved in public accounting since 2000.  She specializes in nonprofit organizations and privately held companies.  Her expertise is in education, foundations, trade associations, A-133s and health and welfare organizations.  She is Chair of Work Options for Women Board and Treasurer for Colorado Nonprofit Association.

 
Craig Choun, CPA | EKS&H LLLP

Craig Choun is a partner with EKS&H.  He leads the firm's nonprofit tax group and has been involved in public accounting since 1979.  He has extensive expertise providing tax consulting and compliance services to tax exempt entities, individuals, closely-held and public businesses.  He serves clients in a variety of industries, with emphasis in nonprofit organizations, real estate development, construction, international tax and mergers and acquisitions.



Kevin Seggelke | Food Bank of the Rockies
 
Kevin D. Seggelke has been President & CEO of Food Bank of the Rockies since January 2, 2003.  Prior to that, he spent 23 years with SUPERVALU, the last ten as VP/Division Director & General Manager of Cub Foods in Colorado.  He received his BA from St. John's University (Collegeville, MN) and JD from William Mitchell College of Law (St. Paul, MN).  He is on the board of directors of the Colorado Nonprofit Association, the Colorado Nonprofit Insurance Agency and RAFT (Resource Area for Teachers).  Kevin currently chairs the National Council for Feeding America.  He is also a past board member of Hunger Free Colorado.  He ans his wife Shannon have three adult sons and a grandson.

 
A.J. Steger | EKS&H LLLP

A.J. Steger is a partner in the business consulting service area of EKS&H.  In his role, he provides management and financial consulting to middle-market companies, develops business strategies, optimizes business operations, develops implementation plans and redesigns organizations to support the changes.  He has additional expertise in assisting business owners plan and implement successful transitions.  Prior to EKS&H, he was a Manager with Keane Consulting Group, a strategy and operations consultancy to mid-corporate clients, and Vice President to the Middle-Market Commercial Lending department with First National Bank of Chicago.  He has provided consulting and financial solutions to companies since 1992.



Thomas Scheffel | Thomas N. Scheffel & Associates, P.C.
 
Thom has practiced as principal in his own local Denver law firm consisting of seven attorneys since 1984.  He focuses personally on tax compliance and planning issues in the areas of nonprofit organizations and individual estate planning and administration.  He has argued tax cases before the U.S. Tax Court, the 10th Circuit of Appeals Court and has testified regarding tax exempt organizations before the Internal Revenue Service.  He serves as General Counsel or Special Tax Counsel to a number of nonprofit organizations as well as serves as an active Board Member to certain select nonprofits.  Thom has been an instructor of Nonprofit Law for Colorado Christian University, Lohrman Education Services, United Business Institute, and the American College of Financial Services.

 
Richard Todd | Innovest Portfolio Solutions, LLC

Rich is the CEO and co-founder of Innovest Portfolio Solutions LLC.  He has more than 25 years of experience in investment consulting and his clients include Innovest's largest nonprofit clients.  Rich has been a guest lecturer at the ICIMC National Conference, University of Denver Graduate Tax Program, National Jewish Estate Planning Conference, the Callan IMC National Conference, the Colorado Public Plan Conference, the Western Pension & Benefits Conference, and the Mountain States Employers Council, among others.

 
Cherie Kirschbaum | CITY PROJECTS, INC,

Cherie is the President / Founder of City Projects, Inc., a firm that leverages social change through real estate by providing real estate advising, planning, development, finance and project management services for nonprofits, foundations, and companies with a social purpose.  Their strategic process has benefited organizations of all sizes and in a variety of sectors including healthcare, mental health, arts and culture, recreation, human services and housing.  Cherie is the former President of Mercy Housing SouthWest, Past President of the Board of Mile High Community Loan Fund and in 2011, the Denver Business Journal recognized Cherie as an Outstanding Women in Business.

             
 
Jason Newcomer, LEED AP  | CITY PROJECTS, INC.

Jason is the Senior Real Estate Manager of City Projects, Inc. and is experienced in real estate development, finance and project management in the public and private sectors.  He has managed nearly $100 million of real estate development projects in healthcare, education, retail, office and housing.  Jason serves on the Commercial Real Estate Development Associations (NAIOP) Board of Directors and has taught courses on Sustainable Development, Green Design and Construction Principles, and Advanced Construction Management at the University of Colorado Graduate Business School and Westwood College.
