Attendees with see the Conductor Fabrication and Patented Durabil Coating Process, winding of small distribution transformers, and the distribution transformer manufacturing cell.
HUBER - WHAT YOU WILL SEE ON THE TOUR:
 
 
Participants will initially receive a safety orientation required for all guests in the facility.  The site has a history of improving safety performance and safety programs driven from employee involvement.  Participants will hear about the site’s involvement in the Voluntary Protection Program (VPP).  VPP recognizes employers and workers in the private industry who have implemented effective safety and health management systems and maintain injury and illness rates below national Bureau of Labor Statistics averages for their respective industries. 
 
Participants will see a focus on sustainability in the forest products industry and how Huber excels in the Sustainable Forestry Initiative Program (SFI) for forest management.  SFI is a voluntary third-party forest certification created in response to market concerns about forest management and logging practices.

This step will be taken solely by IndustryWeek at the request of our host plant based upon the proprietary nature of information that is to be presented. The host plants' decisions are final and will be communicated to attendees in advance. Some participants on the tour may be asked to complete a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:  Please note the following dress code:

--Shoes that cover the entire foot must be worn.  No high-heels allowed.
--PPE items will be provided by the plants.
