Transgender Care 2019   Describe the unique health issues of a transgender patient and provide appropriate care to this patient population.

Hepatitis C after the cure   Use appropriate follow-up for patients who have been cured of HCV in their daily practice and describe the potential long-lasting complications of HCV disease.

Key Note Addressing:  Getting to Zero   Use strategies to successfully engage in promoting diagnosis, linkage and retention in care, and treatment for patients and Americans infected with HIV and/or hepatitis B/C.

The Role of Allied Health Care Professionals in HIV and Hepatitis Care 2019   Describe the role of allied health professionals who care for HIV or Hepatitis patients.  Implement a more robust HIV or hepatitis multidisciplinary care team.

Strategies and Controversies in Anal Dysplasia   Describe the evidence base for screening, diagnosis and management of anal dysplasia in HIV infected patients.  Determine the best strategy for diagnostics and care in the provider’s HIV clinic in regards to anal dysplasia.

HIV: Comorbidities   Utilize the latest diagnostic and management approaches to HIV-related comorbidities

HIV: Mental Health 2019   Improve screening for and care of mental health disorders in HIV infected KP members, including how to access care for mental health issues among these patients in their region.

Steatohepatitis 2019   Implement screening and treatment for steatohepatitis

HIV and aging   Implement the most recent evidence-based approaches to prevention and treatment of aging complications of HIV disease.

HCV Treatment Failure Today and Other Thorny Issues (Like HCV Genotype 3)   Implement treatment and diagnostic strategies for HCV-infected patients who fail initial anti-HCV treatment or have genotypes that are not responsive to generally recommended antiviral agents.

HIV Cure Research   Implement the latest findings in HIV cure research in the treatment paradigm for HIV-infected patients.

Opioid Management 2019   Better manage opioid prescriptions in the care of HIV-infected and hepatitis-infected patients. 

Preventing HIV and Hepatitis: Behavioral and Chemotherapeutic Strategies   Develop an efficient, cost effective, patient-centered HIV and Hepatitis prevention program
Develop tools to monitor patients and outcomes

Credit Statement
The Kaiser Permanente National CME Program designates this live activity for a maximum of 10.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.™ Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Nurses and Physician Assistants – Attendees may report up to 10.75 hours toward continuing education requirements for license renewal. ‘CME’ can be written in lieu of the provider number on all licensure renewal applications.

ABIM MOC Points

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 10.75 Medical Knowledge MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

Note: To claim this credit, you will need to pass a posttest to be administered after the conference; submit your ABIM number; and consent to have the National CME Program report your credit earned to the ABIM via the ACCME.
