UConn Alumni and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences invites you to enjoy craft beer and gourmet pretzels at The Hop Knot, which is co-owned by UConn alums Michael Boney ('03, CLAS) and John Schauster ('13, SFA), and is Connecticut's first craft beer and pretzel bar.
Guests will have the chance to sample a flight of the Hop Knot's beer offerings, as well as its delicious gourmet pretzels. Michael and John will provide us with a background of their business, describe the characteristics of some of the most popular craft beer styles, and give an insight as to how they select the beers that are on tap.
UConn Board of Trustees Chairman Larry McHugh will also be on hand to share remarks and network with UConn alumni.
The cost of the event is $5 per person and includes assorted pretzel bites and either a flight of craft beer or glass of wine.
