Steven Bird has over 10 years IT consulting experience gained in the UK and Australia across a wide range of solution spaces including business applications, infrastructure and service management. Steven’s experience in service management has been gained through significant ITIL implementations in both the private and public sector, where he has provided strategic consulting as well as being involved in process and systems implementation.
 
As National BA Lead for Data#3’s Strategic Consulting Practice, Steven is focused on working with customers to develop strategies, and specify solutions for business improvement through IT, and to design and implement improved business processes, tools and systems to deliver greater business value.

Justin Cook has worked at Data#3 since October 2004. Justin’s system management expertise covers the Microsoft System Center family of products with a particular focus on Operations Manager, Config Manager, Service Manager, Opalis and supporting technologies. In addition, he has vast experience in the design and implementation of desktop and server SOEs. He has worked on many high profile projects including one that was showcased at Microsoft TechEd last year.

Scott Gosling has an extensive career history covering both the business and information technology aspects of computing, with a particular focus on Microsoft network technologies. During Scott’s time as a Senior Network Engineer & Consultant he had a specialisation in messaging technologies with extensive experience with Microsoft’s Exchange mail platform. Scott’s degree and background allows him to assist organisations with the alignment of business goals with Information Technology. Scott also has a successful track record in project management. Scott is now the National Practice Manager for Microsoft Services within Data#3. Scott also sits on the Microsoft Australia Security Partner Advisory Council, and the Microsoft Worldwide Services Executive Partner Advisory Council.  His role encompasses joint business planning with Microsoft nationally, and development of strategic initiatives.  Scott also leads the ICT Services Solution Management group nationally.

Paul Ducklin joined Sophos from the South African Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (similar to Australia's CSIRO) in 1995. He has held numerous senior technical roles in Sophos over the years, variously heading up software engineering, global technical support, and even—for a few admittedly temporary weeks of vertiginously enormous budgetary power—IT.

Prior to VMware, he worked for varying Australian systems integrators where he was technical lead on projects in both the private and public sector across VMware and Microsoft technology stacks.
