Steven Bird has over 10 years IT consulting experience gained in the UK and Australia across a wide range of solution spaces including business applications, infrastructure and service management. Steven’s experience in service management has been gained through significant ITIL implementations in both the private and public sector, where he has provided strategic consulting as well as being involved in process and systems implementation.

 

Justin Cook

Justin Cook has worked at Data#3 since October 2004. Justin’s system management expertise covers the Microsoft System Center family of products with a particular focus on Operations Manager, Config Manager, Service Manager, Opalis and supporting technologies. In addition, he has vast experience in the design and implementation of desktop and server SOEs. He has worked on many high profile projects including one that was showcased at Microsoft TechEd last year.

Matt Hendra has a career history encompassing business and information technology elements of management, with a particular focus on people and outsourcing.  Matt’s degree from Oxford University in Education and Psychology, along with his business acumen in leading people focussed teams has seen Matt work in and lead several recruitment firms.  Matt moved to Data#3 into our Outsourcing team and moved from sales into his Outsourcing leadership role as the National Outsourcing Manager - Managed Services.

 

Scott Gosling has an extensive career history covering both the business and information technology aspects of computing, with a particular focus on Microsoft network technologies. During Scott’s time as a Senior Network Engineer & Consultant he had a specialisation in messaging technologies with extensive experience with Microsoft’s Exchange mail platform. Scott’s degree and background allows him to assist organisations with the alignment of business goals with Information Technology. Scott also has a successful track record in project management. Scott is now the National Practice Manager for Microsoft Services within Data#3. Scott also sits on the Microsoft Australia Security Partner Advisory Council, and the Microsoft Worldwide Services Executive Partner Advisory Council.  His role encompasses joint business planning with Microsoft nationally, and development of strategic initiatives.  Scott also leads the ICT Services Solution Management group nationally.

 Steve Kelly

Steve Kelly established the Australian/ New Zealand office for 3PAR in April, 2010. He joined 3PAR with 20 years of experience in sales and sales management with major technology suppliers including Hitachi Data Systems, IBM/Tivoli, F5 Networks, and BEA Systems. With a passion for engagement with disruptive new technology, Steve is driven to take new products to market and to upset incumbent vendors. He believes that Utility storage & virtualisation is the current disruptive force over the next 5-10 years. He lives with his family in Sydney.

 

 

Garry has over 30 years experience in the IT industry.  His roles have spanned application development, server infrastructure design and technical and sales consulting around data storage.  Garry is a past Chairman of the Storage Networking Industry Association in Australia and New Zealand.

Mark has spent over 10 years as an Enterprise engineer in a range of IT channel roles.  He helps customers increase returns and productivity on their enterprise infrastructure.  He brings together extensive industry experience in data centre, storage, networking and virtualisation.  He is passionate about using technology to improve business.

 

Lani has a foundation as an Information Technology Specialist with over 15 years experience in the IT industry.  Lani has spent the last 13 years specialising in Risk and Information Security Management, working with some of the largest organisations globally, to successfully architecture, manage and secure their information. Lani is certified by ISACA - CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) and CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), he was one of Australia's first CISSP's (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) in 2002.

Alan is the lead Virtual Computing technology evangelist for Citrix APAC ensuring the region is well positioned to take advantage of the entire Citrix product portfolio.  His 25 years in the ICT industry includes three years in the US as the worldwide product and solutions marketing lead for a number of iconic vendors.

 

Ben Strong is a Systems Engineer for McAfee Australia and New Zealand, based out of Canberra.  In his role, Ben is responsible for providing security advice, best of breed security solutions and professional services to organisations throughout the country, with a specific focus on the public sector.  Ben has over 10 years experience in the IT industry (focusing on security solutions), with past roles including technical support and security consulting positions at CA and Verizon. Ben holds a B.Sc degree in Information Technology from Charles Stuart University.

Paul Ducklin joined Sophos from the South African Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (similar to Australia's CSIRO) in 1995. He has held numerous senior technical roles in Sophos over the years, variously heading up software engineering, global technical support, and even—for a few admittedly temporary weeks of vertiginously enormous budgetary power—IT.

Richard Costanzo manages the Websense technical and pre-sales team for Australia and New Zealand and is based in Sydney. The team is responsible for all technical pre-sales work with businesses of all sizes and industry sectors across Australia and New Zealand. Prior to this role, Richard was with Websense based in San Diego, USA and was the Technical Training Manager for Global Education responsible for developing curriculum and training programs across all product lines for internal sales engineers, partners and Websense customers.
