ICMIF Americas 2016

Conference Theme:

The traditional insurance business model has been in place for centuries, founded on stability and consistency of customer relationships based on sustained trust. But the insurance world is now changing, not just incrementally, but fundamentally. Technology and innovation are impacting the entire insurance value chain, everything from product development to underwriting, from marketing to distribution, and from claims to renewals. At the centre of this transformation into a more connected world are customers who expect a selection of insurance products defined and driven by their needs, preferences and convenience.

The theme of this year's conference will focus on how cooperative and mutual insurers can understand this ongoing transformation of the insurance industry and how to leverage this change into new opportunities and growth. Among the insights you will discover include changing risk environments, inclusive insurance, emerging risk trends, relations with regulators, enabling legal and regulatory environments for cooperative and mutual insurance, and global and regional regulatory trends. You will have a unique interactive session to explore your greatest challenges with the most experienced experts in the industry – ICMIF members from across the Americas and around the world.
