Jason Manford will be hosting the Awards! Jason is an established act on the comedy circuit and appeared on the likes of Would I Lie to You, Show Me The Funny and 8 Out of 10 Cats where he was a team captain for 3 years. He has even co-presented the One Show! He regularly performs at the country's top comedy clubs including The Comedy Store and Jongleurs as well abroad. He started his comedy life as a lowly pot collector at Manchester's longest running comedy club, The Buzz. After an act didn't turn up one night, Jason offered to step in and went on to do a very promising set in front of a demanding audience. He has also hosted his radio shows on XFM, Radio 2 and 5 Live and released 3 DVDs. Away from comedy, he has appeared in the revival of Sweeney Todd, Mel Brooks’ The Producers and is currently touring with Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang. |
