At the end of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Identify and apply areas in which big data can help change clinical practice
  2. Apply the benefits of big data to ophthalmology and to SCPMG
  3. Identify measurable outcomes and metrics that may be beneficial to SCPMG"
  4. Identify current uses of artificial intelligence in healthcare
  5. Brainstorm how this technology is applicable to ophthalmology and to SCPMG"
  6. Evaluate top clinical errors and patient complaints to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes
  7. Increase efficiency and patient experience for bilateral cataract surgery
  8. Apply recommended testing to determine patients’ eligibility for currently approved FDA gene therapy

Clinic Assistants and Ophthalmic Technicians: JCAHPO Credits will be applied for.
