Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of the symposium, the participants should be able to:

  1. Diagnose and treat patients who have HPV-related oral and throat cancers by recognizing the role of HPV in the development of oropharyngeal cancer.
  2. Develop standardization in laryngoscopy techniques, practices, and procedures.
  3. Analyze results of testing for sleep apnea, and identify best treatment option for patient.
  4. Implement correct diagnostic techniques in the cancer of unknown primary.
  5. Delineate functional vs. cosmetic rhinoplasty and explain differences to patients.
  6. Expand competence for facial reanimation, and identify appropriate patient populations for this treatment plan.
