At the end of this activity, participants should be able to:

 
 
  • Lifestyle Medicine: Interview, communicate, and educate to motivate patients of all ages to increase engagement in self-care and resources that support their health without pharmaceuticals. 

  • Primary Care Workup Challenges: Improve patient workup and management of common challenging issues, especially related to Mens/Womens/Pediatric/Geriatric health, ultimately resulting in more timely diagnosis and decreased specialty referrals.

  • Psychosocial: Use effective approaches to talk with patients about psychosocial issues that impact their health.

  • Pain Management: Incorporate a wide variety of pain management approaches, and when opioids are indicated, use effective counseling and documentation to avoid red flags.

  • Efficient Physician Workflow: Improve workflow efficiencies using HealthConnect tools, and leveraging Center for Healthy Living patient education resources to get home earlier every day.
