Andrés Cedrón is Senior Legal Counsel & Senior Director of Compliance at Stryker Corporation. He oversees legal matters and directs the Compliance function for Stryker's Latin America and EEMEA operations. Prior to Stryker, he practiced at the law firms of Hunton & Williams LLP in Miami and Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York, focusing on corporate finance, M&A, project finance and external FCPA investigations. Mr. Cedrón received a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School, and a B.A. from The Colorado College.

Lin Cherry is an international corporate media and technology lawyer with over 20 years of experience in media, sports, technology and corporate transactions. Ms. Cherry currently is Senior Vice President – Business & Legal Affairs and General Counsel for the HBO Latin America Group, a group of companies that distributes HBO, Max and Cinemax premium pay television programming services as well as the following basic pay television programming services: A&E, AXN, E! Entertainment, Sony Entertainment Television, Lifetime, The History Channel, Warner Channel, H2 and Telemundo.  These programming services are distributed throughout Latin America, Brazil and the Caribbean.  HBO Latin America Group is also involved in the production and acquisition of content and technology operations relating to the distribution of programming.

Prior to joining HBO Latin America Group, Ms. Cherry was Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Business Development Officer of America Movil subsidiary, DLA, Inc., the operator of the Clarovideo video on demand service; Executive Vice President & General Counsel of MySpace, a social media platform; General Counsel of Tata Sky Limited, a joint venture formed by News Corp.’s Star Group and the Tata Group to provide DTH satellite television throughout India; and Vice President of DIRECTV Latin America, a DTH satellite provider in Latin America.  Prior to working as in-house counsel, Ms. Cherry practiced with Akerman Senterfitt in its corporate department.

Lin graduated Cum Laude from George Washington University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and earned her Juris Doctor at the University of Florida.
 
Samuel Libnic
General Counsel for Latin America and Mexico
Citigroup

Samuel Libnic has been General Counsel of Citigroup’s operations in Latin America since 2007. In September 2013 the Legal Department of Banamex, Citigroup’s Mexican banking subsidiary, also began reporting to Samuel. Samuel’s current responsibilities include overseeing legal coverage for all products and businesses throughout Latin America and Mexico. He is also a member of the board of directors of Banco de Chile, as well as of the Latin America Law Alumni Advisory Board at Georgetown University.  
 
Prior to becoming General Counsel for Latin America, Samuel held a number of positions of increasing responsibility since joining Citi in 1996 as General Counsel of the Global Corporate and Investment Bank for Citibank Mexico. In 2001, he was named Deputy General Counsel for Latin America, a position he held until he assumed his current role. In April 2010, he became a member of Citigroup’s Legal Management Committee and in January 2012 he was appointed Vice President of the Citibank, N.A. board of directors. From November 2010 until June 2013, in addition to his regional role, Samuel also acted as General Counsel for Citi Brazil.   

Before joining Citi, Samuel worked at Shearman & Sterling in New York and previously at Basham, Ringe and Correa, one of Mexico’s most prestigious law firms. He holds a Juris Doctor with honors from the Anahuac University in Mexico, as well as an LL.M. from Georgetown University Law School. He is licensed to practice law in Mexico and New York. 

 
Jose H. Salaverria

Jose H. Salaverria is a transactional and corporate attorney with more than 20 years of experience in corporate and cross-border financing. Jose is the General Counsel of Corporación Interamericana para el Financiamiento de Infraestructura, S.A. (“CIFI”), a non-banking financial institution headquartered in Panama, dedicated to providing financing and advisory services to private infrastructure projects in Latin America and the Caribbean. Prior to joining CIFI in 2002, Mr. Salaverria represented foreign investors in the corporate department of Torres, Plaz & Araujo, a firm based in Caracas, Venezuela. 

Jose earned his Juris Doctor at Universidad Central de Venezuela, has an LL.M. in International Commercial law from George Washington University and an MBA from American University.
