This session will discuss the value of professional travel management. Understand how a professional approach can add value to a local, national or Global corporate travel programme. Identify what suppliers and buyers need to consider to create a best in class approach.

Travel management companies (TMCs) must invest in their businesses to improve their service offering so cashflow is critical yet many corporations expect to pay for travel services on invoice. Extending credit in this way severely impacts the credit available to TMCs for research, development and infrastructure investment. Discuss how to move some of the financial burden from TMCs to banks for greater industry financial stability and to improve the overall corporate travel service.
