“How to keep your travellers safe and secure?!”
Risk management and security in a travel management program are more important than ever! But how do you keep your travellers safe and secure? They need to adhere to the travel policy so they can be traced, kept safe and communicated to in an efficient way. Duty of Care is high on the agenda of travel managers, and the safety of the traveller is important for each corporate.
Effective communications and increased compliance are crucial. How should Travel Managers engage travellers to follow the corporate guidelines that are in place? If we can increase compliance then we can also increase the safety & security of travellers! How do we reach our travellers, how do we communicate to our travellers and how do we make them more compliant? Travellers need to become aware that it is impertinent for them to follow the company policy in order to be more safe… Communication is key!

Keynote The referendum on Brexit has caused strong turbulence in global markets. The climate of uncertainty is no good for the economy and travel is also suffering from the impact. The depreciation of the British pound sterling against world currencies was only the first visible consequence of the choice of the majority of Britons. In the travel sector, airlines, particularly those with a large business in the UK, were the first to be affected: profit warnings have been issued in recent weeks. However, there is more to come in 2017 when the British Government finally triggers Article 50. Andrea Giuricin, Professor, Università degli Studi di Milano Bicocca |
