Preparation for Successful 1:1 Meetings with IHG Key Account Team

We recommend that you come prepared with the following key insights for your 1:1 meetings with the IHG Key Account Directors.  
  • Bring information on the RN production of the accounts you are meeting about.  Know the RN volume to your hotel, your current market share, and the overall volume into your competitive set. 
  • Know if the account(s) use a Travel Agency and if so which one(s). 
  • Know the local contacts for the account(s).
  • Who are your top 3 competitors for the account(s)?
  • Provide any insight on groups & meetings opportunities that you are aware of from a local market perspective. 
  • Share information on your competitive set for each account. What are they offering to the account & the travelers?
  • What do you have to offer that differentiates your hotel from the competitors (account specific)?
  • What is the distance from your hotel to the account or to where the travelers want / need to be?
  • What are demand generators in your area?
