Waterfalls
Cascadilla Falls
Over 150 waterfalls within 10 square miles!

Cascadilla Falls: Picturesque Cascadilla Falls is a 20ft multiple cascading fall, the first on a popular gorge trail that connects Cornell University to downtown from College Ave. to Court St. Along the way, the creek drops 400ft past nine waterfalls.

Triphammer Falls: Triphammer Falls is a 55ft multiple cascading fall, a centerpiece of the Cornell campus.

Buttermilk Falls State Park: Buttermilk Creek descends more than 500 feet in a series of cascades and rapids. A natural pool at the base of Buttermilk Falls provides swimming with the feel of an old swimming hole. Upstream, a scenic trail circles Lake Treman. The park features 5 trails that wander through a remarkable variety of landscapes.

Wineries and Breweries
Come see for yourself as you hop around to over 25 unique wineries on Cayuga Lake. Wine tours depart from various Ithaca locations.

Breweries are popping up all over Ithaca, and are becoming an exciting stop on the Finger Lakes Beer Trail. Our breweries craft beer for all palates from hoppy IPAs and mild summer lagers. Ithaca not just for wine lovers anymore, beer fans come see for yourself!
