You and your guest may choose to participate in one of the following activities per day; activity options are different each day. Optional Day of Leisure activities below are offered as first come first serve.
Please note: Bumpy road conditions will be present going into and out of the jungle.
The level of intensity for each activity is based on the following scale:

Volcano Adventure (Zipline, Horseback & Tubing)
Duration: 9 hours, includes transportation time
Attire: Comfortable clothing, hiking shoes or closed toed shoes (keep in mind, you will get wet), bathing suit, hat or visor, and sunscreen.

Get ready for adventure as you zipline, horseback ride and river tube in Rincon de la Vieja National Park. You will begin exploring by ziplining (try it upside down!) into a canyon and over a turbulent river. Imagine yourself rappelling, rock climbing and zip lining on 12 cables, doing Tarzan swings and hanging bridges, all set in the majestic Rio Blanco canyon. After ziplining, you will ride by horseback for 45-minutes to Rio Negro. After a short walk to the base of Victoria waterfall, you will start the tubing adventure through Río Negro’s crystal clear rapids. Get ready for an adventure you’ll never forget! Best of Costa Rica (Horseback, Zipline & Hot Springs)
Duration: 9.5 hours, includes transportation time
Attire: Comfortable clothing, pants or long shorts, hiking shoes or closed toed shoes (keep in mind, you will get wet), bathing suit, hat or visor, and sunscreen.

This unique experience provides an opportunity to ride on horseback, zip line through the mountain tops and visit a hot springs with rejuvenating volcanic mud. Start the day with a horseback ride through the jungle, ending at the first of the zip line Canopy Tour platforms. After soaring above the trees, enjoy a delicious lunch and relax in the natural hot springs and mud pools surrounding Rincon de la Vieja Volcano, considered to possess medicinal and cosmetic properties. Attire: Comfortable clothing (that you don't mind getting dirty!), closed-toe shoes, shorts or long pants, light poncho, insect repellent, and sunscreen.

Ride off-the-beaten-track roads near the village of Panama Beach on this ATV expedition, passing little towns, creeks, plantations and cattle farms while enjoying views of the Guanacaste tropical dry forest with an opportunity to spot wildlife.

Four Seasons Golf
Duration: 4-5 hours, departs from Resort
Attire: Shorts, collared shirt, golf shoes, and sunblock.

Four Seasons Spa
Duration: 60-75 minutes, depending on treatment
Please arrive 30 minutes prior to appointment
Attire: Robe and slippers will be provided by the spa and a bathing suit is recommended.

Hydrating and Illuminating Facial (60 minutes)
This brightening treatment will help to address pigmentation concerns and increase skin hydration without the use of harsh chemicals by combining proven natural skin brighteners with a gentle exfoliation.
Rainforest Aromatherapy Massage (60 minutes)
This massage allows you to choose from the spa's custom blends of aromatic essential oils with fragrances that respond to your mind, body and spiritual needs
Natural Healing Bamboo Massage (60 minutes)
The deepest and most natural massage is known for its unique healing properties. Using freshly cut bamboo, this deep pressure massage reduces stress and relieves tension in the muscles.
Spa Manicure and Pedicure (75 minutes)
This exceptional manicure and pedicure includes gentle skin softening, mail shaping and polish according to your individual preference.

Eco Boat Tour and Costa Rican Cultural Experience
Duration: 6.5 hours, includes transportation time
Attire: Comfortable clothing and footwear, insect repellent, sunscreen, hat or visor, and camera.
Intensity:
Explore the beautiful Palo Verde National Park in this one hour boat tour through the Tempisque River. The park provides the opportunity to take a closer look at nature and observe a wide variety of birds, crocodiles, monkeys and iguanas, while a naturalist guide points out the characteristics of this complex ecosystem. After the boat tour, visit a traditional sugar mill and sabanero house to taste fresh squeezed sugarcane juice and Costa Rican coffee. Then enjoy a traditional lunch and a performance by regional dancers before returning to the resort. Please note: bumpy road conditions should be expected.

Sport Fishing
Duration: 5 hours, leaves from Four Seasons Resort
Attire: Comfortable shoes and clothes, and sunblock.
Intensity:
The North Pacific area is known worldwide as one of the best 'catch and release' fishing spots in the country. Encounter an abundance of fish such as sailfish, grouper, wahoo, dorado, blue, black and striped marlin and yellow fin tuna. Enjoy a fun-filled day aboard the boat fully stocked with snacks and beverages.

If you want to enjoy the day at your own pace, no worries! Four Seasons has activities available onsite for you to enjoy!

- 8:00am - 12:00pm - Catamaran and Snorkel Cruise
Join us for a beautiful half-day journey along the north Pacific coast of Costa Rica. Swim, snorkel, observe beautiful tropical fish, and then jump back on board to continue our adventure in search of dolphins and rays.
- 10:00am - 11:00am - Nature Hike
- 10:00am - 4:00pm - Coco Beach Shopping Shuttle
Souvenir shops line the main street and offer a wide selection of Costa Rican items including leather goods, wood products, and pottery handcrafted by local artisans.
