The Marina Inn at Grand Dunes' picturesque beachfront location ensures you can do what you love most - spend time in the water. Choose from a relaxing afternoon on the private beach or dip into Myrtle Beach’s only infinity edge pool. When the weather doesn’t cooperate, don’t forget to visit the heated indoor pool. Enjoy all that this beautiful South Carolina beach has to offer with the advantage of a private sanctuary uniquely surrounded by green space and Myrtle Beach dunes. With additional programs like the Marina Inn Children’s Activities Program, the Coastal Spa and the beach, everyone in the family is sure to have a great time.

Pull up a lounge chair and soak up the sun on this private beach exclusive for Marina Inn guests. 

  • Beach umbrellas, chairs and towels are provided for fun in the sun Myrtle Beach activities
  • Convenient bathroom facilities, changing area and shower, to leave the Myrtle Beach sand behind
  • Grab a light meal at the Snack Bar with a covered seating area offering casual options such as hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, sodas, beer and wine
  • The beach is only 5 minutes away 
  • Shuttle service is provided and is available throughout the day from the Marina Inn

Located beside the Marina Inn at the Grande Dunes Marina, Myrtle Beach Water Sports rents jet skis and pontoon boats and offers guided dolphin tours and adventure tours. 

  • Jet Ski Dolphin Watch Tour
    • Follow one of the experienced guides up the Intracoastal Waterway through North Myrtle Beach out to the ocean.  Once in the ocean, tour guides will try to get guests as close as possible to the dolphins. No experience required.
    • $165 per jet ski for 2 hours (jet ski can seat up to 3 people, recommend 2 people for comfort)

  • Jet Ski Rentals and Waterway Tours
    • This tour goes north up the Intracoastal Waterway touring Sunset Beach and Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina. Tour guide professionals will point out various points of interest while viewing million dollar homes on the water. Once returning to South Carolina waters, the tour will pass Bird Island on the way home. Finally, guests are given an opportunity to ride at their own pace for a 20-minute free ride. No experience required.
    • Jet Ski Rental: $65 per half hour and $105 per hour
    • Waterway Tour: $165 per jet ski for 2 hours (jet ski can seat up to 3 people, recommend 2 people for comfort)

  • Pontoon Boat Rentals
    • Pontoon Boats are available for rent by the half day or full day. They hold up to 12 adults and all picnic or fishing gear. Small groups find this a great way to take a leisurely cruise along the Intracoastal Waterway, enjoy nature, or even camp out on one of the islands for the day.
    • Pontoon Boat Rental: $350 for 4 hours or $499 for 8 hours

  • Backwater Adventure!
    • Imagine speeding over the glassy and beautiful backwaters of South Carolina, winding through the moss covered oaks and going to places that can’t be accessed any other way. Experience nature in an adrenaline filled ride for real jet-ski enthusiasts.
    • $165 per jet ski for 2 hours (jet ski can seat up to 3 people, recommend 2 people for comfort)

 


Grande Poolscape

The outdoor Grande Poolscape offers a serene environment while overlooking the marina and Intracoastal Waterway. Order up a signature cocktail while soaking up the sun or savor the tranquil surroundings.

  • Features Myrtle Beach's only infinity edge pool
  • Pool is open year round but heated from March - October
  • Experience ultimate relaxation and solitude, with two Jacuzzis open & heated year round

Golf at Grande Dunes

Resort Club at Grande Dunes, created by renowned Roger Rulewich, is par 72 with a dramatic design featuring seven holes that play along the Intracoastal Waterway. Golf enthusiasts can also improve their games with the critically acclaimed Paul Ritson-Mel Sole Golf School at their new site at the Resort Club at Grand Dunes.

The Resort Course at Grande Dunes is conveniently located behind the Marina Inn. The hotel shuttle will provide transportation.

 


Tennis Club at Grand Dunes

Framed by the Intracoastal Waterway, the Tennis Club at Grande Dunes has been designed to include dramatic views adding an unparalleled element to an already unforgettable experience. The expansive new 5,000-square-foot facility is perfectly suited for all aspects of the sport including lessons, games or tournaments and has been constructed on the site of the popular Myrtle Beach Tennis Club. The concierge will gladly assist with reserving court times.

Marina Inn Children’s Activities Program

Children will stay entertained with daily activities ranging from treasure hunts and noodle races to arts and crafts! Monday – Sunday children’s activities will begin at 10:00am and last all day until 4:00pm. Click the link below for a tentative schedule. Fees may be applicable depending on activity.
