WELCOME TO LIFE BUOY FOR MS 2016
We are now into our third year of running this fabulous fundraising event. Some of you have made this event a permanent fixture in your calendar, for which we are very grateful. Due to demand and growth we are excited to be in a bigger venue this year and in the heart of Auckland City. We extend our thanks to our friends at Auckland Conventions who have assisted us in this significant transition.
This event could not proceed without the assistance of our fantastic corporate sponsors. We are extremely appreciative to all the other organisations and people that have got behind "Life Buoy for MS" to support people living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). We receive only 8% of our annual income from Government funding. In order to provide our highly valued services such as fieldworkers, rehabilitation classes (hydrotherapy, yoga), workshops, seminars, research days and our magazine, we rely heavily on fundraising . We have also identified the need for a new service to provide counselling services to people affected by MS. Funds raised from "Life Buoy for MS" will go directly to support existing programmes as well as the establishment of a new counselling service.
We have superb food and wine, as well as a highly entertaining MC and guest speaker lined up for the day.
