2016 CLAS College Experience: The Psychology of Wealth

The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences invites you back to the classroom for an exciting opportunity to explore The Psychology of Wealth. This biennial event brings together outstanding faculty, current research, and an engaged alumni audience for a fun day of lifelong learning.
The program includes three discussions with faculty members representing diverse subject areas from Actuarial Science to Human Development and Family Studies to Economics. A light breakfast and lunch program with CLAS Dean Jeremy Teitelbaum and current UConn students are included in the $20 per person cost to attend the event.

- 10:30 am: Hunger and Nutrition in the United States: Policies, Practices, and Politics, Marlene Schwartz, Professor of Human Development and Family Studies and Director of the Rudd Center for Food Policy and Obesity
- 12:15 pm: Tyranny of Choice: Behavioral Insights into Financial and Health Care Decision-Making, Mike Shor, Associate Professor of Economics
