Small Business Executive Exchange
Relationships vs. Process, Why Contractors Need Both
On the surface, the government market can seem entirely process driven. There are thousands of pages of regulations, laws and customary practices. In a risk-averse market, buyers want a contractor they can trust. During this session, attendees will discover why relationships matter just as much, if not more, in federal than they do in the commercial world. Attendees will learn how to ensure you develop the relationships you need to be successful, including a case study of how a successful small business made it.
What is the Executive Exchange series?
Small business professionals converge and discover practical strategies for growth, efficiency, and compliance at our Small Business Executive Exchange. Attendees are able to network with industry peers, learn from experts about practical subjects of interest, and share successful strategies, cautionary tales, and upcoming opportunities.
The event begins with informal networking before a short presentation on a topic that you can put to immediate use. Afterwards, the attendees will break into a roundtable discussion about the presentation and share business intelligence: what works, what doesn't, what others are doing, successes, failures, rumors.
All attendees will receive a contact list of the participants along with the compiled results of a survey about upcoming needs and opportunities.
