SPEAKERS


Steve Lund
Founder, Chairman of the Board & Executive Director of Nourish the Children

Steven J. Lund serves as chairman of the board of Nu Skin Enterprises. He also serves as the executive director of the company’s Nourish the Children initiative, which has facilitated the donation of millions of meals to malnourished children around the world.

Additionally, Lund serves on the executive board for the Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation. Lund formerly served as vice chairman of the board from 2006 to 2012, and as president and chief executive officer and board member from 1996 to 2003. Lund also served as executive vice president of Nu Skin International (NSI) from its inception in 1984.

Before joining Nu Skin Enterprises, Lund was an attorney with a private law firm specializing in litigation and product liability law. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from Brigham Young University J. Reuben Clark Law School (1983). He is a member of the Utah and Arizona Bar Associations and has served on the executive committee of the Direct Selling Association. Lund also participates in various civic and religious leadership roles and serves on the Utah Valley University Board of Trustees, where he previously acted as chairman.


Joe Chang, Ph.D
Chief Scientific Officer and Executive Vice President, Product Development

Joseph Y. Chang, Ph.D., was appointed Chief Scientific Officer and Executive Vice President of Product Development in February 2006. Dr. Chang enjoys a comprehensive knowledge of both the pharmaceutical and dietary supplement industries and serves as a member of the Executive Committee for Nu Skin Enterprises.

He formerly served as president and chief scientific officer of Pharmanex. Prior to Pharmanex, Dr. Chang served as both president and chief scientific officer at Binary Therapeutics, Inc. from 1994 to 1997 and at OsteoArthritis Sciences, Inc. from 1991 to 1994. He has also held various executive research management positions at Wyeth-Ayerst, Rhone Poulenc Rorer and other biotechnology companies, where he was involved in researching natural products for arthritis and cancer treatment.

A prolific author, Dr. Chang has published numerous articles, reviews and books on pharmacological research during his nearly 20 years in the health care industry. He received a B.S. degree from Portsmouth University and a Ph.D. from the University of London.


Ryan Napierski
President of Global Sales & Operations

Ryan Napierski was appointed President of Global Sales & Operations in late 2015. A 20-year Nu Skin veteran, Napierski was most recently the president of both Nu Skin Japan and Nu Skin North Asia and has worked & lived in Asia for the past eight years playing an integral part of the business in the region. Prior to his assignment as regional president, Napierski served as vice president of business development for the company’s North Asia region and chief operating officer of Nu Skin Japan.

Since joining Nu Skin in 1995, Napierski has served in several roles, including vice president of global business development where he was responsible for the company’s global compensation plan, general manager for the United Kingdom, and vice president of European business development.

Napierski has a bachelor’s degree in business, a master’s degree in business administration from Duke University and a master’s degree in international business from Goethe Universitat in Germany.


Melisa Tantoco Quijano
President, Asia Pacific Region

Melisa Tantoco Quijano serves as the president of Nu Skin Asia Pacific, which includes Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia and the Pacific. Previously, Melisa served as president of the South Asia/Pacific region, general manager for Nu Skin Malaysia and Nu Skin Thailand and regional marketing director for the Southeast Asia region. She was also the vice president of market services for the company's global Distributor Success Organization based in the U.S. Melisa serves as an honorary board member of the Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Foundation of Thailand, a board member of the CHILD Foundation in the Philippines and board member of the Southeast Asia Children's Heart Fund.

In 2010, Melisa was named as the Best Asian Executive by the prestigious International Stevie Business Awards for leading Nu Skin South Asia/ Pacific region as the fastest growing region in the Nu Skin world. She was also one of the top finalists in the prestigious Asian Women In Leadership award in 2013 and a recipient of Gold Medal of Appreciation from the Thai Red Cross in 2013. Melisa is serving a second term as a member of the World Federation of Direct Selling Association (WFDSA) Advisory Council for the Asia/Pacific region, a position she has held since 2011. She was also a member of the association's Ethics Committee from 2011-2013.


Mike Colvin
Vice President of Sales & Operations, Pacific Region

Mike Colvin brings 20 years of experience in the Direct Selling industry to his role as Vice President of Sales & Operations for the Pacific Region. Overseeing the Nu Skin businesses in Australia, New Zealand, French Polynesia and New Caledonia, Mike manages the sales growth of the Pacific Region and engages in fostering Nu Skin’s goals and culture.

Prior to joining Nu Skin, Mike served as the Director of Sales for another top health & nutrition company where he launched the business to almost a billion dollars in sales. During his time at Nu Skin, Mike has exceeded the leadership roles of Director of Sales of the East Coast of North America, Vice President of Sales for Nu Skin North America and head of Nu Skin Canada.

In 2011, Mike was selected to lead the sales and operations for Nu Skin in the Pacific Region. As part of the Nu Skin 3.0 Vision, Mike establishes long term partnerships with the region’s sales leaders, and provides rewarding opportunities for new waves of leaders who will join the Pacific towards its Go Double $100 Million regional goal.


Spencer Choy
10 Million Dollar Circle, 3 Year Team Elite Platinum, 15 Year Team Elite

Before joining Nu Skin, Spencer and his wife Lily were running their own businesses in Canada. Both were looking for a real global business without regional constraints, and Lily was determined to look for opportunities in Hong Kong. During this time, Lily was introduced to the Nu Skin. She joined as a business partner and recommended this opportunity to Spencer.

At the time, Spencer was running his own toy retail and wholesale business in Canada, and showed little interest in direct selling business. Nevertheless, when Spencer realised that Nu Skin could offer him a real global business opportunity and unlimited potential income, he joined Lily to develop their global business kingdom. With determination and dedication, they completed their dreams to become one of Hong Kong's highest performing Team Elites.


Charley Patterson
1 Million Dollar Circle, 1 Year Team Elite Platinum, 10 Year Team Elite

After graduating from the University of Oregon, Charley found success as a professional wakeboarder. Charley created a name for himself, as well as sizeable income, from his professional wakeboarding. But when he lost his investments due to the economy at age 31, he knew Nu Skin held the potential to give him both the lifestyle and the income he wanted.

Charley treasures the lifestyle Nu Skin has given him today and gives back regularly by purchasing and donating VitaMeal through Nu Skin’s Nourish the Children initiative.


Diana Zisselman
1 Million Dollar Circle, 3 Year Team Elite

Before Nu Skin, Diana worked in the pharmaceutical industry and was division head of a national home health company. In 2008 while exploring for a new venture, Diana’s husband Jeff received a recommendation from none other than Nu Skin founder Sandie Tilloston – a long-time friend of Jeff. Today, both Diana and her husband Jeff are successful Nu Skin leaders with an impressive organisation around the world. Diana has a personal passion about people and science, and is a committed NTC ambassador.

Diana graduated from the University of California – Los Angeles with a degree in Psychology and holds a Master’s degree from Loyola Marymount University.

RECOGNITION

Here are a few important facts you will need to know regarding recognition at the 2016 Nu Skin Pacific Convention:

  • All recognition consists of new title advancement since July 2014.


EVENT RECOGNITION

  • Event Recognition will include all new titles from July 2014 to February 2016 month end.
  • You must be registered for convention by March 31, 2016 in order to be eligible for recognition.
  • All new Executive through new Diamond titles must be paid as an Executive or higher during the February 2016 PV period or they will not be eligible for recognition.
  • All new Blue Diamond, Team Elite, and Million Dollar Circle members must be paid as a Ruby or higher during the February 2016 PV period or they will not be eligible for recognition.
  • Ruby and above pin title advancements will be recognised on stage during Convention main sessions
  • New Stars and New Star Creators must be paid as Ruby or higher during the February 2016 PV period or they will not be eligible for recognition
  • New Stars and Star Creators will be recognised on the Sydney Harbour Dinner Cruise.


PRINTED RECOGNITION:

  • Printed Recognition will include all new titles from July 2014 to 1st April 2016
  • Printed Recognition will be distributed after the Convention
  •
