Airport Shuttles are available from both the domestic and international terminals at Sydney airport for a cost of $12 one way.
Taxis from the airport cost approximately $40 and take between 20-30 minutes.
Driving:
From Sydney Airport or the East: On leaving Sydney Airport follow the signs to the city, which will lead you down Southern Cross Drive. When on Southern Cross Drive, follow the signs to Oxford Street. Turn left onto Flinders Street and then left onto Oxford Street and follow Oxford Street down towards Hyde Park and the CBD. Cross over Elizabeth Street, Pitt Street and George Street. You are now on Liverpool Street. Proceed down the hill until you reach a T-intersection and turn right onto Harbour Street. Turn right at the first set of traffic lights. Cross over the next set of traffic lights into Day Street and the hotel entrance is on your right-hand side.
From The West: Continue along Western Distributor Freeway until the freeway forks right onto the Cross City Tunnel. Continue along the Cross City Tunnel and take Bathurst St Exit. Continue along Bathurst St and over Bathurst St bridge. Once over the bridge, you will arrive at a major intersection. Day St is the first left after the intersection. Turn left onto Day St and welcome to Crowne Plaza Darling Harbour.
From The North: Continue across the Sydney Harbour Bridge along the Bradfield Highway which continues onto the Western Distributor for 1 kilometer, then continue along Harbour St for 500 meters. Get ready to veer left onto Bathurst St at the next intersection, followed immediately by another left turn onto Day St. Please note that there is a sign at this intersection, indicating that there are no left turns allowed – this rule is only applicable for large vehicles – left turns are permitted for smaller vehicles.
