Collaborative Interactive Session – How Will Technology Enable The Success Of NZ’s Health System? What's In It For You? This year’s Healthcare Congress has a focus on the recently released New Zealand Health Strategy 2016 and the role that health technologies will play in enabling the success of this Strategy over the coming 10+ years. The Interactive Session that you will be participating in is an opportunity for you to provide your input into this future direction. So, if you haven’t already done so, please review and familiarise yourself with the NZ Health Strategy by following the link below. Hard copies of the Strategy will be available when you arrive at the Healthcare Congress on the 21st and 22nd of June. http://www.health.govt.nz/publication/new-zealand-health-strategy-2016 A facilitated, high energy, interactive session providing delegates with the opportunity to contribute their knowledge and thinking into the Ministry of Health’s NZ Health Strategy focussing on its Key Strategic Themes. The focus of each session will be on how technology can enable and support the success of the Health Strategy thereby doing our bit to create a healthier New Zealand. The outcome of this interactive session will be the development of key points (as a result of everyone’s input) that will be reported back to the Minister of Health and the Director-General of Health. These key points will form the basis of how MTANZ and NZHIT will partner with the Ministry as the Health Strategy is implemented from 1 July 2016.
Delegates in pre-assigned groups rotate around four ‘hub’s that each feature a key element of MoH NZ Health Strategy.
• People-powered
• Closer to Home
• Value and high-performance
• One Team
