Driving Directions
If you are driving to the Diamond Conference, please allow plenty of time to get to San Antonio and drive safely. Below are some useful tips:
- Be certain to log your round-trip mileage as you will be reimbursed for your travel expenses up to $250, unless prior approval has been obtained for a higher reimbursement.
- There is ample parking at the hotel; Heartland will cover your overnight parking expenses.
- To be reimbursed for any out-of-pocket expenses (gas and parking), please list your Diamond Conference expenses on a separate expense form. Do not include Diamond Conference expenses in your routine monthly expenses; submit via Concur.
Airport Shuttle
When you arrive at the airport, please proceed to the Baggage Claim/Group Transportation area. Once you have claimed your baggage, please look for Heartland volunteers holding Heartland signs who will direct you to the shuttle bus location. Heartland shuttles will be operating in continuous loops on the arrival day, Sunday, March 6th. Shuttles will provide transportation from the airport to the hotel, If you plan to arrive before or after Heartland shuttle service is available, taxis will be available at your own expense in the Group Transportation area.
Shuttles will also run on the departure day, Wednesday, March 9th. Look for signage in the hotel directing you to the Heartland shuttles. If you plan to depart before or after Heartland shuttle service is available, you will need to make transportation arrangements at your own expense.
