Knibbe Ranch
The Knibbe Ranch was founded in 1852 and has been designated as a Century Heritage Ranch, meaning the ranch has had continuous cattle operations for more than 100 years.  The Ranch was originally 22,000 acres and was founded by Hans Heinrich Dietrich Knibbe - the first settler in Spring Branch who had to throw all of his equipment overboard when his sailing vessel became grounded on a reef.  Today, the Knibbe Ranch is owned and operated by Chuck Knibbe (Dietrich's great-great-grandson) as a working cattle ranch featuring F-1 Tiger Stripes.  The Knibbe Ranch is also home to one of the largest confirmed buffalo jump archeological sites in Texas.  While at the Knibbe Ranch, you will have an opportunity to tour the ranch to see some of these highlights as well as enjoy a Texas inspired evening all while networking with your peers.

Sunset Station
The Sunday evening networking reception will be held in the renovated Southern Pacific Railroad Terminal.  Sunset Station was built in 1902 and was one of the stops for the Sunset Limited which connected San Francisco to New Orleans.  Sunset Station is known as "The Building of 1,000 Lights" due to the ornate architecture and modern (at the time) lights installed during its construction.

Fun Run
Based on the success of the Fun Run from Summit 2015, Heartland will be hosting a 5k Fun Run at the Diamond Conference on Tuesday, March 8th.  The Fun Run course will run through parts of downtown San Antonio and along the River Walk.  If you enjoyed last years Fun Run, you will love what is in store for this year with a professional crew hosting the event, professional start/finish line, bibs, chip timing and awards for two classes.
