Your trip begins today as you board your flight to sunny Mexico.

Arrival:  Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport and escorted to waiting transportation to the Grand Velas Resort!

Check in to your room and enjoy the remainder of the afternoon exploring the resort or relaxing by the pool or on the beach.

Leisure Time:  Be sure to stop by the Autotask Hospitality Desk, where your travel staff may help you to plan your days.  The Hospitality Desk staff may also assist you with dinner reservations and provide information about activities and the surrounding area.

Breakfast:  Begin your day with breakfast at your leisure.

Activities:  Today, you may choose to play a round of golf at the Grand Coral Golf Course or pamper yourself at the spa! (See the Activities Page for details.)  Or, if you prefer, relax and enjoy the resort’s facilities.  Find a spot on the resort’s sandy beach or at one of the hotel’s pool areas.  Take the shuttle over to the Zen area to explore this beautiful and tranquil area of the resort.  There are an endless number of things to do and see.

Your staff will be available at the Hospitality Desk to help you plan your day or assist with dinner reservations.

Dinner:  This evening, dine at the restaurant of your choice at the hotel. Choose among Mexican, French, Italian or Asian cuisine or enjoy an experience at the resort’s signature restaurant, Cocina de Autor, specializing in Basque Fusion, Spanish and Mexican food. 

Breakfast:  Start your day with breakfast before today's optional group activity.

Activities:  For those of you who have signed up for today's excursion, depart from the hotel lobby for Xel-Ha, an aquatic theme park, where you can explore fascinating marine species living freely in Xel-Ha’s inlet!  The tour will include lunch and beverages.  If you wish to stop in Playa del Carmen on the way back for shopping, you may do so; however, transportation back to the resort will be on your own.

If you do not participate in the Xel-Ha Excursion and you have chosen a spa service as your choice of activity, you may choose to schedule your service today. Or, why not discover what else the Riviera Maya has to offer!

The Hospitality Desk will be open throughout the day to assist you with dining suggestions and activity information.
           
Dinner:  Dinner will be on your own this evening in the resort restaurants. 
 

Activities:  If you haven’t already taken advantage of a complimentary massage or facial, perhaps today is the day!  Take a taxi to Playa del Carmen for shopping or just soak in the Mexican sunshine at the pool or on the resort’s golden beach!

Breakfast/Departure:  Have an early breakfast so that you can make the most of your time before checking out of the resort!  Transportation will be provided back to the airport for your return flight home.
