You are kindly invited to submit abstracts describing original research work on EUS and very instructive clinical cases that you wish to present at the Congress as an oral or poster presentation.

Please read the following guidelines for the submission of abstracts carefully before submiting your abstract.

Abstract submission opening:	November 2012
Abstract submission deadline (extended deadline):	4 February 2013
Notification:	1 March 2013
Resgistration deadline for author with accepted abstracts:	15 March 2013
Congress dates:	25-26 April 2013

Guidelines

1. Authors presenting abstracts must be registered participants.

2. Abstracts can only be submitted in English. Abstracts must be submitted exclusively online.

3. Titles should contain no more than 70 characters, including space. The rest of the abstract should contain no more than 250 words. A figure or a short table may be inserted.

4. The list of author should contain the author's name, institution, city and country. Please omit titles and degrees.

5. Use standard abbreviations. Place a special or unusual abbreviation ini parenthesis after the full word the first time it appears.

6. The abstract should be informative and clearly structure, containing:

An introduction with a brief statement of the study's specific objectives
a summary of the results obtained
a statement of the conclusions.

7. Please avoid references, however, if references are used they should be included in the text as: (Authors, Journal, year, volume, pages).

8. All abstracts will be evaluated and reviewed by the Scientific Committee. Notification will be given by e-mail whether it is a positive or negative answer.

9. Every accepted abstracts will be published in the Endoscopy Ultrasound, the EURO EUS official journal.

10. Two types of presentations are available:

oral communications: 7-minute presentation followed by 3-minute discussion. Click here to upload the guidelines to prepare your oral communication.
