HOW TO BOOK
To make a reservation please click on the register now button on the welcome page of this website.  We will not be able to properly facilitate your booking request and administration of your travel arrangements if you do not provide us with the information requested on our booking form. Please note all reservations are subject to availability.  Upgrades, extensions and connecting flights can be arranged through the Global Connection please speak with Mark for further information.
Payment is accepted by Visa and MasterCard, at a service fee of 1.5%. American Express will incur a fee of 3%,
A non-refundable deposit is required in our office within 7 days or receiving your confirmation to enable us to hold the reservation. Deposit amount required is $500.00 per person.
Balance of payment is due in full 60 days prior to departure.
A fee of $100.00 per amendment per file will apply for changes made after a booking has been confirmed and will apply once a deposit is paid.  This fee is in addition to any airline and/or operator charges.
Once a deposit has been paid, cancellation charges apply.  Outside 90 days, loss of deposit will occur.  We will apply reasonable fees to cover the costs incurred for our professional services, plus any charge levied by Principals, which can be up to 100% depending on each principal’s rules.  After departure no refund will apply to any unused services or flight coupons.
The tour price is based on a minimum of 20 passengers. This minimum of passengers is required to operate the tour and also to ensure an enjoyable group atmosphere. Where sufficient numbers cannot be achieved The Global Connection reserves the right to cancel the scheduled departure.
We give notice that we act as an agent only for the hotels, tour and transportation companies providing services.  While acting in good faith we do not accept responsibility for injury, inconvenience, loss, damages, and delay to persons or property or for related expenses or inconvenience on the part of its employees, agents or individuals providing the service specified.  Furthermore we do not accept responsibility for any loss, damage, delay, injury and inconvenience or for any related expense for any omission, error or any misleading statement or information contained in any documentation for this tour.
Australian GST is not included and may be added where necessary.  GST does not apply to tour costs that are outside of Australia.
The client acknowledges that he/she will provide us from time to time with information about the client of personal nature “personal information”.  The Client consents to us using any personal information of making and completing airline bookings and travel related arrangements on behalf of the client.
Any quote is an estimate only of price, which will be subject to availability and to written advice on confirmation of all travel components.  Your quote will include travel arrangements such as air fares, accommodation, tours and cruises and these details will appear on the confirmation invoice provided and in your documentation.  Prices are subject to change without notice and may change at any time up until departure. In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as increases in air/hotel tariffs and/or major fluctuations occurring in exchange rates, prices can be altered up until time of final payment.  Port charges, taxes and air taxes are subject to change right up to time of travel.  All operators involved in this group tour reserve the right to impose or pass through any increases that may occur up until commencement of travel.  No right of cancellation exists under these circumstances. Prices are only inclusive of meals and sightseeing as specified in the itinerary.
Tour cost excludes personal expenditure such as insurance of all kinds, laundry, telephone charges, emergency evacuation costs, beverages, excess baggage, optional excursions, passports, visa fees, meals not listed in the itinerary, tips and gratuities to Tour Directors, motor coach drivers and local city guides and travel cost in Australia to or from the international departure point unless otherwise stated.
Australian government legislation requires us to collect from you the taxes and levies controlled by the airline/government or authority. These costs are additional to prices as above and may change without notice at any time up until departure.  Full payment of your tour does not exempt you from implementation of additional charges outside of our control.  We will offer advice in this regard, but regret we do not control, nor will we be held responsible for government taxes and levies.
Travel Insurance is strongly recommended. The Global Connection is able to offer travel insurance to cover cancellation, medical and emergency expenses, personal liability, luggage, travel documents and other inclusions. Please read the conditions of the travel insurance brochure carefully.  Cover for pre-existing medical conditions will require separate application and each applicant assessed by the insurer individually.  The travel insurance brochure is available from our office.
Please note the coach tour operator will only allow for one suitcase per person and a small carry-on bag.
• Hotels will all be of a high standard.
• The schedule may vary from that outlined above, but not in substance.
• Flight times are provisional only.
• Buffet breakfast each day and dinner on the evening of arrival at a new hotel is included in the package.
• Lunch will be at individual expense, except where provided by our supplier hosts.
