How to get to the EICC

By Air

Edinburgh has one of the UK's fastest growing airports and new flights are always being added. The EICC is located right in the heart of the city and within 10km (6 miles) of Edinburgh International Airport. There is an excellent taxi service from the airport to the city. You'll find official airport taxis at the taxi rank outside the terminal building (follow the signs within the airport). It costs approximately £15 to get a taxi from the airport to the city centre and the journey takes 20 minutes depending on the time of day.

By Tram

The 14km tram route runs from Edinburgh Airport all the way to York Place in the City Centre. Along the route are 15 tram stops, connecting passengers with bus and rail services, popular shopping and commuter destinations. Take a tram heading for York Place alighting at Haymarket; this will take approximately 30 minutes. Trams run every 8 – 12 minutes; adult single £5/adult returns £8. Once you have reached Haymarket, walk to the EICC which will take approximately 10 minutes.
