Christine Chen Legal Director Cinven Christine is a dual-qualified Solicitor (Law Societies of Upper Canada and England and Wales) and a Canadian Barrister. Following six years of post-qualification practice in a leading Canadian law firm, she moved to London where she practiced as a tax consultant, specialising in fund structuring and private equity transactions, for five and a half years. Christine left Deloitte at the start of 2007 to take the position of Legal Director at Cinven.

Amyn Hassanally Partner Coller Capital Amyn is responsible for the structuring, negotiation and execution of investments at Coller Capital and is actively involved in the Firm’s capital raising efforts. Before joining Coller Capital in 2005, Amyn was a Senior Associate in the Private Equity Groups of Dewey and LeBoeuf LLP in New York and Bingham McCutchen LLP in Los Angeles where he specialised in private equity fund formation and transactions, fund structuring, public and private M&A and venture capital financings. Amyn holds a JD from the Duke University School of Law and a BA from Brandeis University.

Geoffrey Kittredge Partner Debevoise & Plimpton Geoffrey Kittredge is a corporate partner based in the London office of Debevoise & Plimpton. He is the Co-Chair of the firm's European Private Equity Funds Group. Geoffrey focuses on private equity and investment fund formation and regularly represents a broad range of international private equity and other private investment funds and their sponsors, including leveraged buyout, mezzanine, real estate and secondaries funds, as well as funds of funds. Geoffrey is also a member of the EMPEA Legal & Regulatory Council. | |
Anna Marx Executive Director Morgan Stanley Anna Marx is a senior in-house counsel at Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) and has been at MSIM for eight years. In her current role, Anna heads up the legal coverage for MSIM's merchant banking private funds platform for Europe, Middle East and Africa and MSIM's global (ex-US) Alternative Investment Partners platform (portfolio solutions, funds of funds) and advises on all aspects of MSIM's funds and transactions made by MSIM funds. Previously, Anna was part of the in-house legal team covering all aspects of the traditional asset management business including set up, maintenance and distribution of fund vehicles and separately managed accounts.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Anna was a managing associate in the corporate department of Linklaters LLP.

Anna Trotman Director and Senior Counsel Deutsche Bank Anna is qualified in New Zealand, New York and England & Wales. She is a director at Deutsche Bank where she has been for over six years. There she is responsible for the legal coverage of RREEF Infrastructure, RREEF's Iberian and Moroccan real estate funds, and certain DB litigation matters.
Prior to joining DB, Anna was at ING in New Zealand and Allen & Overy.

Richard Ward Partner Debevoise & Plimpton Richard Ward chairs the firm's UK Tax Practice. A broad gauged UK corporate and transactional tax lawyer, Mr. Ward has advised an array of multinational clients on M&A, joint ventures, financing transactions and private equity fund formation and operation. Mr. Ward is ranked as a key individual by Chambers UK (2012-2013) and described as an “on-the-ball practitioner” by Chambers UK (2011). Mr. Ward is the author of a number of articles, including articles in the Corporate Tax Review on US / UK hybrid vehicles and tax treatment of telecommunications assets. He is author of “Goodbye to the Best of Both Worlds: UK Tax Changes Affecting LBO Deals”, Debevoise’s Private Equity Report (2005) and “Compensating UK-Based Executives of Private Equity Sponsors”, Debevoise’s Private Equity Report (2004).
