Uddipan heads the Insurance practice at Dell Services. His team is driving the development of new solutions and offerings for the Insurance vertical.

Uddipan has more than 20 years’ experience, over which he has essayed a number of roles spanning development, technology architecture, program management, client partner, and practice head. He is responsible for incubating new revenue streams through practices that can contribute a substantial proportion of the verticals revenue in 2-3 years; growing business advisory and consulting capability; and providing domain and business analyst support to all programs and projects being executed by the vertical.

He has overseen large customer relationships in the BFSI space, some of which are over $75 M annually. Amongst others, he has:

• Won a ground-breaking, large, multi-year IT-BPO integrated deal (400+ resources x 5 years) for providing data services
• Managed a P&L of over $ 80 M across a customer base spanning UK, Europe, and North America. Won large deals across geos – UK, Ireland, and Canada
• Led the chase team and architected the implementation of a GBP 15 M  Customer Services Transformation implementation in a large insurance customer at UK
• Managed the e-Enabling program (40% of overall value of services) in a $45 million SI implementation at a start-up telecom services provider in UK
