Peter Redshaw is the Manager for the Banking and Investment Services (BIS) Research team. The team's agenda is aimed at all the BIS subsectors (retail, commercial, wealth management, capital markets, etc.) and is topic-driven. The three Key Initiatives focus on the hottest areas in BIS and comprise digital banking (including mobility, social, future of money, etc.), payments (including digital wallets and transaction banking) and operations innovation (including open banking, cloud, analytics, etc.).

Mr. Redshaw joined Gartner in 2000, and before that he was a finance/business consultant at Capgemini (IT Services), where he was involved in IT project work for numerous clients in the financial services sector. He worked in the IT industry for 16 years before joining Gartner. During his employment at CAP Scientific, Software Sciences and Capgemini, he worked on multiple IT projects and across all life cycle stages, from requirements and design to development, testing, implementation and operation.
