Introduction
For the very 1st time, HIMSS is introducing the HIMSS AsiaPac Innovation Award at this year's HIMSS AsiaPac15 from 6th - 10th September 2015 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. Created for Health IT devices and applications that address everyday challenges, the award aims to recognize unique and creative ideas which enhance the quality of life. The Award will provide the perfect platform where, both promising start-ups and established solution providers can compete on a level playing field. HIMSS aims to enhance market access, increase trade opportunities and encourage business initiatives between organizations. |

Entry Qualification
1) Innovations submitted for nomination must be Health IT Related, with working prototype or final product available for display and hands on demonstration at the HIMSS AsiaPac Innovation Competition Showcase from the 6th – 10th September, during the HIMSS AsiaPac 15 Conference and Exhibition at Marina Bay Sands. 2) Innovation can be available for sales or planned to be made available in Asia Pacific Region. 3) The final product or working prototype must be conceptualized and produced during the period of May 1, 2014 to 29 May 2015. 4) Software and Application will be allowed for entry. Shortlisted Innovation will have to provide their own platform for showcasing the software and application. Software and application should be compatible with existing devices to enable hands on Interactions. |

Fee Structure
1) No fees would be required to submit your nominations. 2) Shortlisted organization would be invited to participate in the Innovation Competition showcase, upon acceptance the organization would be subjected to an administrative fee of SGD3,500 which would include the following at HIMSS AsiaPac15 Conference and Exhibition event.
b. 2 Entry Pass to the Exhibition Hall and Award Presentation Ceremony 3) The administration fee must be received by HIMSS before July 3, 2015 for confirmation of participation, late payment would result in auto withdrawal from the Innovation Competition. |

Timeline
1) Call for Nomination Opens: February 17, 2015 2) Cutoff Date for Nomination: May 1, 2015 3) Shortlisting Process: May 2 to May 22, 2015 4) Entrants Notified: May 26, 2015 5) Acceptance of Invitation: June 15, 2015 6) Deadline for Payment: July 3, 2015 7) Submission of Material for Event: July 7 – August 14, 2015 |
