
BSV: An Initiative design to provide an opportunity for the whole industry to join together to enhance our knowledge of the venues, to gain good PR for our members and to support two charities.
Why: Apart from providing an opportunity for the whole association to get involved in fundraising, the key objective of the Big Site Visit is to raise money for two very worthy causes:
Meeting Needs is the charitable organisation previously known as MIMN which works with the events industry to deliver life changing support directly to those in need
The HBAA Foundation:- Chairman Jacqui Kavanagh included the creation of a foundation to support members' professional development as one of the association’s 2015 objectives to retain our talent in the industry.
When: 3rd September 2015 to 7th September 2015
Where: Countrywide (or Internationally) – we will try to support a visit to as many venues as we can, no matter where in the world!!
How:
Venue Members: At any time during the five day period, your venue offers an opportunity for an agent member to visit your property to experience whatever you believe to be the best way to showcase your property and services. You’re encouraged to be creative and innovative with both the site inspection and the auction lots as the HBAA will recognise your efforts with awards at the Annual Dinner.
Agents: To Visit as many venues as you can during the period to enhance your knowledge & to gain as many auction lots as possible to support the charities.
