The Hon Mike Baird MP, Premier of New South Wales will open the conference, with Jenny Brockie, Australian award-winning journalist, documentary-maker and host of the SBS program, Insight as MC and facilitator.

Book your place at this unique event now. Conference tickets only $495. We have a special early bird rate of $395 if you register before 31 March 2015.

This conference will focus on the development of Social Benefit Bonds and Social Investment, as a means to supporting innovative practice and harnessing new funding within Australia’s social services sector.

Conference presentations and workshops will draw upon the experience of setting up and running the Newpin Social Benefit Bond pilot and participants will have an opportunity to explore cutting edge practice.

Alongside the conference workshops that explore the role of social investment in government and non-government sectors, two further streams will focus on key practice wisdom that underpins the work of the health and welfare sectors:
• restoration / reunification approaches that work, including a particular focus on fathers, and
• exploring the impact of trauma on families, with an emphasis on mental ill-health
